Judy's Makeup and Hair Trial

Judy before the trial

With just a teenie bit of primping with airbrushing and some natural curls, Judy is gorgeous!

Nina came to me after she had a bad experience with a  makeup trial. She said she looked ashy and felt like she couldn't move her face. She said they used airbrushing but didn't feel weightless at all. She is not used to wearing a lot of makeup. As you can see she has a beautiful complexion, but skin with more pigment can be challenging to an inexperienced makeup artist. Her wedding is in August and she doesn't want to feel like she has makeup on but needs it to stay in place. I told her airbrushing would and should feel weightless when done properly.

This is her after. She wanted the focus to be on her beautiful eyes and lips. Here she has makeup on to accentuate her gorgeous features without having to feel like she has a ton of makeup on. I talked her into the individual lashes which is just enough to make her eyes pop that much more. We are also adding extensions to add more length. That will give her a sexy glam but classic look on her wedding day! I can't wait to take pictures of that!

Grace's Wedding 6/24/12

I met Grace several year ago when she was a bridesmaid for a wedding. Since she liked the way I did her hair and makeup for her friend's wedding, she hired me for hers. This is what I love about this business, so many opportunities to network! We decided against the tiara and went with the fresh flowers for the hair. It just looks so much more elegant and went along with her personality. I used airbrush makeup and individual lashes for a natural look. She looks gorgeous!!

Wendy's Wedding 10/15/11

The beautiful bride Wendy. I really had a great time working with Wendy and her now sister-in-law, Maryrose. They are such great people. When I first met Wendy, I told her that she looks like an actress or model and I'm still trying to figure it out.

Wendy loved the way I did the hair for one of my previous brides. So I did a similar theme for her. I loved the hair piece she chose. It went beautifully with the gown. The great thing about this hairstyle is that when she takes it down tonight she will wake up with beautiful waves and airbrushed face to go with it!

Maryrose's hair. I wanted to continue the romantic theme so I did somewhat of an up/down do. Since she lives in FL, she gets her hair Japanese straightened but as you can see, her hair still curls beautifully.

Maryrose and I. I hope she doesn't kill me for putting this up, but I think she looks gorgeous here. Of course she does because I did her hair and makeup!

I have never met such warm and giving people. This wedding was a joy to do. Here is the infamous mocha cake from Christine's bakery that Maryrose gave me. How adorable is this?!

Karen Wedding at Grand Summit Hotel

A cold day in January, but looking at this gorgeous photo of Karen, you would never think it! We share the love of purple and I decided to portray this in her eyes, making them really dramatic. I will post more photos that will show this as I get them. I airbrushed her beautiful skin, giving her a healthy glow and finished with a glossy, neutral lip to emphasize the eyes. I also added some hair to give a bit of length and volume. Jeff Tisman captured the timeless shots. He is an amazing photojournalist.

Amy (Bride) Trial

Before. Amy is a stunning girl but as a bride, she wants to be the star of the show. And I gave her that look!
After. Amy is even more stunning! My little Canon PowerShot doesn't do justice. But you all get the idea of what just a teenie bit of makeup can do. She looks like a porcelain doll. =0) The airbrush makeup will allow her to maintain this look all night with just touching up the gloss.

After. Look at those fabUlashes!!!
